There are no class fees for the 2021-22 school year, eliminating any barriers students might have to taking a class.
No hay cuotas de clase para el año escolar 21-22, esto elimina las barreras que los estudiantes puedan tener para tomar una clase.

Students will need to login to their PowerSchool account, then select the Class Registration tab.

Step by step on requesting:

  1. Advanced Course offerings will be the first line. Students have the option to inform us they would like to take an advanced courses at GPHS by adding their name to the list the Counselors will have in class. Both Math and English options will be approved by administration and teacher after looking at data, such as prerequisites, grades, state testing, etc.

  2. Electives - semester or year-long:

a. The year-long electives, such as band and world languages, are in the second line down. You will find two pages of electives available. When you find an elective you wish to request, click the box on the left and scroll down to click the 'Okay' button. The electives without a box to check on the left are only available with a teacher recommendation.

b. The semester long electives are in the third line. Please choose enough to fill the credits needed to fill their schedule.

  1. Alternate Electives - these elective choices should be different than those above. Why? If a student's elective choice is full, the system will pull from alternates to fill their schedule.

  2. Last step - click the submit button to save requests. Students can change their requests at anytime during the request window. If a change is needed after the window is closed, please contact the student's middle school counselor.
