Story Path

Description

Storytelling is a way we share ideas, share our culture, and share experiences with others. What is your favorite story to listen to or tell? Share a favorite story with indi through a well-thought-out path of color tiles and creative scenery.

Objectives

• I can create a path for indi that represents a story arc.

• I can represent the setting of a story with things I make.

• I can develop a plan to retell a story.

Preparation

• Consider integrating this lesson into a story or set of stories that students have read or listened to in class. This will help make sure all students are starting at a similar place before even working with indi.

• If you are not having students prepare to retell a story from the classroom, be sure to brainstorm a list of popular stories for them to choose from.
