Sing to Me

Description

Did you know that indi loves music? Using the color tiles and Sphero Edu Jr app, indi can sing you a classic melody or a song of your own creation. In this lesson students will experiment with color tiles spacing to learn about temp and timing.

• I can change indi's code so that each color represents a note in a song.

• I can space color tiles so that the timing and tempo of the song are correct.

Preparation

• Queue up the different songs listed. Each song is available in the Sphero Edu Jr app for indi to sing. Make time to listen to the songs you decide to have the students recreate with indi and the Sphero Edu Jr app. It will help students to have heard and to be familiar with the songs they will be working with.

• Prepare each groups' indi by creating a new configuration in which each color will play the same song. Note which song is configured on each indi. For convenience, consider configuring each indi with the same song.
