sequences in Nature

Description

Sequences in nature that repeat themselves are called cycles. All living things, the weather, and other natural events are parts of different cycles. Teach indi about one of these cycles using the color tiles and your creativity.

Objectives

• I can identify cycles in nature.

• I can correctly identify what comes next in a pattern

• I can demonstrate my understanding of natural cycles by creating a looping sequence for indi.

Details

Preparation

• Depending on the cycles that students will recreate, each group will need at least one extra Pink or Blue card in order to create a loop for indi to travel on. Place additional color cards somewhere easy to access or provide each group with the same number of additional cards.
