READING: Read decodable book sent home nightly Monday - Thursday. Please fill out and sign the yellow reading slip. Return the book and slip the next day.
SIGHT WORDS: Practice sight words - flash cards are sent home quarterly. You can download flashcards to practice with on the Reading page. There are some game ideas, too!
SPELLING: Practice 10 minutes daily. A spelling packet will be sent home once a week; the day it is sent home will vary. Watch for test dates on the weekly spelling packet. The day of the week we have spelling tests will vary as well. You can find the spelling words on the Spelling page.
MATH: i-Ready Math homework sheets sent home nightly Monday - Thursday. Please return the completed sheet the next day.
Look for a red “homework” stamp on papers. This work needs to be completed that night and returned the next day.
We will use a blue home folder to transport work to and from school each night. Please make sure this is in your child’s backpack each and every day. One side of the folder will be for “papers to keep at home” - the other side will be for “papers to return to school”.
