For articulation therapy, there is a hierarchy to generalization. You will find the steps below:

Practice the sound with your child in sentences/stories. Then time them for one minute to see how many correct productions of the word on the step they are at they can get in one minute. Make sure that your child is saying the sounds correctly. For more information on how to help your child with the sound, check out the Google Classroom under the specific sound. Here are the rates to they need to achieve 3 times to move on to the next step.
