Ms. Bowles Keepin' It Cool in Kindergarten

Dear Family,

Welcome to all day Kindergarten it's been a fun 2 days! Please work with your child on following directions the first time. I have some cuties that need extra practice. We are working on name writing. If your child cannot write his/her name please work with them daily. Our classroom goal is to know letter names and sounds by the end of November.

We are also working on personal space. Please remind your child of the classroom rules. 1-Follow Directions the First Time Given 2-Be on Task 3-KYHFOOTYS-Keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself 4-Communicate positively.

Please keep school supplies at home. I have supplies that I provide for each child. Please check your student's backpack each day. Look at their seatwork to make sure they are understanding what we are learning. Please keep toys stay at home. We will do show and tell every Friday. The children love it. Don't worry if your child forgets a show and tell item. I will help them do a tell.

Just a heads up, picture day is Monday, September 13. It's a pleasure teaching your child! Please let me know if I can support your child in any way.
