Sterling Scholar

Sterling Scholar is an opportunity available to senior students at Kearns High School. Most departments have a scholar application available. Speak to Mrs. Konkar in room 233 to pick up an application. Sterling scholars move up in the state and are interviewed in formal processes. The further you make it in the process, the more scholarship and monetary opportunities are offered to you across the state. Even receiving the award at the school level looks excellent on college applications.

The Art Department awards a sterling scholar award to a student who has excelled in art-related activities, classes, and community service. Students who earn the sterling scholar award are chosen based on grades, citizenship, growth in art, and future goals in art.
