What Jupiter Looks Like for Parents

  • Messages- this is where any messages sent to you, parents of your school, and/or all parents can be found. A copy of each Jupiter message is also sent to the email address attached to the parent account. If there are any new, unread, messages there will be a blue dot to the right of the word "Messages"


  • To Do- lists the students current grade in each class based on assignments that have already been graded and any currently assigned items in those classes.
      • Grades may change frequently as new assignments are entered and graded
      • Some students (elementary, etc...) may not see any grade information in this area as that information isn't put into Jupiter until report card time


  • Grades- shows a class by class breakdown of overall and assignment grades. Use the drop down at the top to pick different classes/terms to review the information.


  • Assignment- see Grades or To Do for Assignment information.


  • Materials- shows a listing of classes and available materials posted to those classes, if any


  • My Files- shows a listing of items the selected student has uploaded to Jupiter but not yet turned in


  • Calendar- shows assignments and announcements in a monthly calendar view. Past, current, and future information can be viewed depending on what teachers have made available. To view more detail on a calendar entry, click on it.


  • Report Card- CURRENTLY NOT ON YET for 18-19. Once Marking Period 1 Report cards are available, this feature will be turned on and parents can click here to view their student's report card. To view report cards for a previous year, select a different year from the drop down at the top.


  • Behavior Log- shows any behavior reports (positive and/or negative) that teachers have put online, if any. In most instances, any online behavior reports have also been sent to parents by email or parents have been contacted by phone.


  • Settings- parent information and settings. This is where you can set your preferences for notifications, change your password, etc...
      • Do not change any of your data in this area. If you need to make a change to your phone, email address, or other piece of parent data in this area you must complete the Online Registration Form so that change is made in Synergy.
