HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOOLS OF CHOICE

  1. Read the Schools of Choice Information Letter
  2. Complete the online Schools of Choice (SOC) Application form here. Each student must be submitted on a separate application.*
    • All SOC applications must be completed and submitted electronically to GRAND BLANC COMMUNITY SCHOOLS by 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 15, 2019 with previous two years of behavior to be considered complete. *
  3. Complete the GBCS Online Registration process.

*In order to be considered for enrollment, a copy of your student’s behavior report for the past 2 full school years must be provided with each application. You must wait for the completion of the 2018-19 school year to submit this behavior. If the student does not have behavior, a signed statement on district letter head stating no behavior issues must be provided.

Behavior information can be turned into the GBCS Administration Building (aka Central Office) or emailed using the link provided in the application confirmation email.


If you do not have access to a computer and need help completing the application, limited computer access will be available at the GBCS Administration Building
