Horseshoe Casino 

Mid-Century in style and tone, this one-off original follows the developing aesthetic of my more recent work (Cactus Pete’s, Travel Inn Motel, Stowaway Motel & Sea Dip Motel). Based on a vintage postcard I’ve limited the palette of colours and simplified the image to create a graphic representation in the style of an architects rendering from the time of the design’s conception. This gives the piece a feeling of modernity whilst still being of its era. I absolutely love the sheer exuberance of the forms and colours - so unique and of their time.
