Welcome to Robbinsville High School! My name is Stuart Nelms, and I am honored to serve as your Principal. My journey at RHS began in the classroom, where I taught for 12 years after earning my teaching degree from Western Carolina University. Driven by my passion for our school's future, I returned to WCU to complete my Master’s Degree in School Administration in 2021.

Beyond my role at RHS, I am the proud husband to my wife, Katrina, and dad to our two wonderful kids, Mercy and Bam. When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me enjoying the outdoors and spending quality time with my family.

There is truly nothing quite like the community, pride, and tradition here—I love being a Black Knight and am proud to serve our students, staff, and families every day!
