Curriculum Resources
The vast majority of our teaching materials for 8th Grade Math come directly from OpenUp Resources. Parents can find information for every Unit that we cover at this link:
https://access.openupresources.org/curricula/our6-8math-nc/en/grade-8/family.html
To supplement OpenUp, we occasionally use the online resources Kahoot, Gimkit, and Quizizz. Anytime I use one of these resources, I pull the questions directly from either OpenUp, or from the NC 8th Grade Math Standards. For example, the following is a Gimkit set of questions that we are currently using to study for their Slope-intercept test:

These resources gamify the material that they have learned in their OpenUp workbooks and are great for practice and review.
For in-class tests, we use SchoolNet. This resource pulls directly from state testing banks in order to mimic the same type of questions that students will see on their check-ins and EoG.
