Pam Knott

-Ms. Knott retired from Graham County Schools as a teacher in the Career Technical Education program. She has a BS degree from Western Carolina University and worked as the 4H and Community Development Agent with NC Extension Service in Swain County prior to beginning her teaching career. She began her tenure on the Board of Education in 2020. Her interests include volunteering for school-sponsored activities, representing the Board on the construction committee for the new middle school wing and serving as vice president of the Robbinsville Women’s Club. She has one son, Warren, who is Assistant Principal at Robbinsville Elementary School, a daughter-in-law Shannon who teaches at Robbinsville Middle School, and two grandchildren who are her biggest joy in life. Her goal for the Board of Education is that each child deserves fair treatment, to have his/her voice heard and to have the opportunity to be competent lifelong learners.
