Staying Inter-generational is nothing new nowadays with the issues of parents / grandparents been neglected while dwelling unit area being fixed and rigid deriving to conflicts and cluttered space (Lane, 2007). However, the layout available in the market had taken minor consideration or none on the issues of space expanding in within the unit as well as the space segregation according to needs at different life cycle. This design thesis shall determine the right approach by means of suitable modular grid to counter the issues through adaptability and the integration on continuity of communal activity spaces from common through to the doorsteps of the dwelling unit.
