SKETCHES
THE INSPIRATION COME FROM TAIPING LAKE GARDEN'S TREE. THE TREE IS A POWERFUL SYMBOL OF GROWTH, RESILIENCE AND LIFE. AS IT DROPS ITS LEAVES ONLY TO GROW NEW ONES. WOOD STRIPS REPRESENT THE TREE OF TAIPING LAKE GARDEN. RANDOM ARRANGEMENT INSPIRATE BY TREE GROWTH PATTERN. THE PATTERN IN CENTER INSPIRATE BY TREE SILK STRIPS.
The inspiration come from Taiping tree. The crown of the tree is like an umbrella. The umbrella not only provides physical protection, but also symbolizes peace of mind. The space under the umbrella has become a symbol of peace, representing social stability, unity and interdependence. Tree protects the creatures on the earth, and the umbrella protects humans. The structure of the tree crown and the umbrella both demonstrate this ability to be inclusive, forming a dual symbol of vision and artistic conception. This reflecting that in human society, peace requires both protection and tolerance of differences and different views.
