The Persatuan Pendidikan Sains dan Matematik Johor (PPSMJ), or The Association of Science and Mathematics Education, Johor, was established in 1974 under the guidance of the Johor State Education Department. Since its inception, PPSMJ has collaborated closely with both the Johor Department of Education and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to strengthen the teaching and learning of science and mathematics in schools. PPSMJ is also a registered association under the Registry of Society System (eROSES).

Over the years, PPSMJ has gained a strong following through its diverse programs. Our signature initiatives include the International Conference on Science and Mathematics Education (ICSME), the 3-Minute STEM Video Competition, and the International Innovation Competition in Education (IICE). Additionally, we have organized educational trips to Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), where our visits to various learning institutions have been warmly received.

PPSMJ also fosters international collaboration through colloquiums with diverse learning institutions, further strengthening our network and impact in science and mathematics education.
