Welcome to the Interactive Virtual Year 9 Options Evening
We hope that you enjoy using our interactive platform to discover the various subjects we offer here at Grace. You will find a video below from your Head of Year Mr. Bowser introducing the evening and then you can use the interactive map to go into the Academy and explore the different subjects. After you have explored all of the different subjects, please head to the Lecture Theatre for a presentation from Mr. Brehon where he will explain to you the different 'Blocks' that subjects can be found in and how to fill out your options form. Lastly, there is a quiz at the top of this page you can click on which is based on the fantastic videos our teachers have filmed - upon completion of this quiz, you will be entered into the Year 9 Options Evening competition.

If you have a creative interest, Art and its many forms from painting to sculpting and pottery is for you
BTEC Sport
Health and Fitness along with the nutrition to maintain it is just a small part of what this course offers. If you have any aspirations of working within the sport or sport therapy industries, this is an excellent place to start
Business and Enterprise
Learn all about what it takes to succeed in business, with transferable skills taught by industry experienced professionals
Creative Media
In an increasingly digital time with everything going online, this is the course for you if you want to be a part of a highly dynamic and fast moving landscape
Design Technology
The UK is known across the world as a design and ideas hub. DT will help you understand how these designs come to be and how to turn the ideas into reality
Drama
Not only is this a great confidence boosting subject to take, it will teach you vital skills you can carry over to job interviews as well as giving you a chance to show the world your own story through the performing arts
English
English is so much more than a core subject, being able to interpret and understand literary texts as well as simply being able to write coherently forms part of several vital life skills that will aid you with all of your future plans

Learning about the world, the processes that make our environment tick and the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit it
