Here at Grace Academy Solihull, we strongly believe that nutritious food and student learning are linked, therefore we strive to provide food at our school canteen that encompasses these beliefs.

The menu as provided by Cucina, runs on a three week cycle and has various options to meet all student needs. Students also have a 20 minute morning break from 10:30 - 10:50 during which time they can either eat snacks which they bring from home, or choose from a small selection of snacks that can be purchased from our canteen.

If your child is entitled to Free School Meals (FSM), your child’s FSM allowance of £2.30 per day will be automatically added to your child’s biometric finger scan each day, meaning they can purchase their lunch from the canteen without the need for you to do anything further. As you can see from the attached menu, there are plenty of offerings, including the daily meal deal at £2.30 (hot main meal and a pudding) and the ‘Blue Dot Deal’ which allows for student to pick up to 4 items (a main, two sides and a drink) from a large list of options for the price of £2.30, to ensure all students have access to substantial, nutritional meals whilst they are at the academy.
