Whatever your path is after graduation (joining the workforce, community college, military, university), you need to understand the steps that should be taken to insure success. Plan for your future today!
Be sure you have also joined the Google Classroom that I created. I will post important information there regarding college visits, scholarships, senior events, etc.

Take electives in high school that can prepare you for the field you wish to enter (welding, business, childcare, etc.).
Volunteer or get a part-time job to build work experience.
Clean up your social media (be aware of how you market yourself, i.e. your "brand").
Network within the community and build relationships.
Create a resume and cover letter (check your grammar and spelling!).
Job search!
Participate in mock job interviews to better prepare yourself.
Evaluate different colleges, and find the one that is right for you!
Make sure you have a qualifying test score (such as an ACT or Accuplacer test).
Clean up your social media (be aware of how you market yourself, i.e. your "brand").
Apply for Admission (this in done entirely online) - and tell the Counselor's office which colleges you applied to.
Create a SAMS account.

Register for your first semester college classes with the help of an advisor. Your first semester is typically the Fall semester (the August following graduation).
You will need one! You should use a personal email for anything related to life beyond high school. Be sure it is professional. No nicknames or anything that could be embarrassing! Use one of the links below to create an email.
