Join us virtually August 20th starting at 8:00 a.m.
High School Reading Interventionist: I meet with students 2 - 3 times a week while using the Science of Reading methods to help good readers become better readers.
Dyslexia Specialist: I am the dyslexia contact person for the school district. That means I do all of the level 1 and level 2 testing for characteristics of dyslexia to better serve your child in the classroom. If you have any questions concerning this area, feel free to email me anytime.
ESOL Coordinator (English to Speakers of Other Languages): If your child comes from a non-English speaking home, then I will be contacting you so that I may test your child's level of English. This allows your child's teacher to be able to better serve you and your child while attending Guy-Perkins Schools.

Student will use hand sanitizer prior to entering the classroom. (Located in rm 3 of the High School)
Student will be given a clean, clear face mask to wear in place of cloth mask. This is so I can fully understand your child and they can understand me. This is very important for this type of testing.
Student will sit at a table with a clear divider between him/her and the teacher. The student will be tested individually so there will not be any other students in the room. Exceptions may be with a small group of no larger than 6 students and socially distanced.
Upon leaving, student will exchange the clear face shield for their cloth mask and then asked to use hand sanitizer.
Face shields, tables, chairs, and clear table dividers will be cleaned and sanitized between testing sessions.
