If you are a GP practising in an eligible Primary Health Network (PHN), you now have access to a psychiatrist who can support you in managing the mental health care of your patients.

This service is being funded in response to General Practitioners indicating a need for a suitable consultation liaison model to provide them with access to psychiatric expertise. The aim of the service is to build capacity and skills of GPs, and provide support to manage more complex mental health issues.



To access this service, please take about 2 minutes to register (once only).

You will need your AHPRA Registration Number, and practice details.

After we confirm you are a GP with provider numbers registered in the following PHNs, we will contact you with instructions on how to send enquiries to our team of psychiatrists.

  • The service is available 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays)
  • We will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours (considering operating times above).
  • This is NOT a triage or referral service.
  • This is NOT an emergency service. In case of emergency, please ring 000.
  • This service is only for GPs.
