August 2019:

*Week of August 26--All Grades HAL Orientation. Students will get passes from Mrs. Neneman

September 2019:

*Week of September 2nd: Kick off 7th & 8th Language HAL unit: Hamilton!

*September 10--6th Grade Leadership Seminar at Gifford Farm (Language only). Bring sack lunch, water, and dress for weather.

*September 11--7/8 Grade Leadership Seminar at Gifford Farm (Language only). Bring sack lunch, water, and dress for weather.

*6th Grade start rocketry unit

October 2019:

October 2nd: 8th grade Language HAL: Presentation of Shakespeare play Othello. Leave at 7:40 and return by 1:30. Bring a lunch OR bring money to purchase lunch.

October 8th: 6th Math HAL: Science Olympiad at Gifford Farm Leave at 8:15 return by 2:45. Bring a lunch and drink.

October 22nd: 7th & 8th Celebrate Creativity at Joslyn. Leave at 8:15 return around 2:45. Bring a lunch and drink.

October 25th: 8th Math HAL: UNO Engineering Workshop, leave at 8:00 return by 2:30. Lunch provided.

October 29th: 8th Language HAL: Film Streams: Story Code: The structure of stories. Leave 9:15 return 1:30 lunch is provided.

November 2019:

November 6th: 7th & 8th quiz bowl at Seward. Leave at 7:30, return around 5:00.

Bring money for lunch.

November 7th: 7th math HAL: Engineering Days at UNL. Bring a sack lunch and drink.

​November 15th: 6th grade quiz bowl at the Educational Service unit in Omaha. Bring a lunch and drink.

​November 19th: 8th Language HAL: Film Streams:Storyteller's Point of View. Leave 9:15 return 1:30. Lunch provided.

November 21st: 6th Grade Math competition at McMillan Magnet

December 2019:

December 2nd: 7th & 8th quiz bowl ESU #3. Bring a lunch and drink.

December 3rd: 7th & 8th Lang. HAL: Kicking off the Ruth Bader Ginsburg unit of study

December 4th: 7th & 8th Language HAL: Film Streams Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Leave 9:10, return 1:30. Lunch provided.

​December 9th: 6th Math HAL: Second Math Olympiad test

December 10th: 8th Language HAL: Film Streams: Story Code. Leave 9:15 return 1:30. Lunch provided.

December 13th: 6th Math HAL--Science Olympiad Educational Service Unit #3. Leave 8:10 return 2:45. Bring lunch and drink.
