Dear Families,
We had a great week here at Falling Waters! On Wednesday, we celebrated 100 days of school! We had some 100-year-old substitute teachers in 1st grade and our kindergarteners wore 100th Day capes. Thanks to everyone for making the last 100 days amazing! Also, congratulations to our 1st graders! They sang in their music program this past Thursday evening. A special thank you to Mrs. Gibbons - she led the program while Mrs. Weddel is on maternity leave. Our Assistant Principal, Mr. Runyon was also present and helped run the show!
Next week will be a busy week for us! Can you believe it will be February? We are hosting our 2024-25 future Kindergarten parent meeting on Thursday, February 1st. We will begin with classroom visits and accepting paperwork at 6:00 PM followed by our presentation beginning at 6:30 PM. We look forward to meeting our future kindergarten families! If you would like to help support this project, there is a list of items here that she will be using to complete it!
Students are welcome to celebrate their birthdays at school! Please be sure treats are store bought. Check with your child's teacher if they are a nut-free classroom.
To help your child's birthday celebration run smoothly, please send the treats with your child to school in the morning.
Guests are welcome to join us at lunch. There will be special "Guest" tables set up in the lunchroom for you and your child to eat. Your child will not be allowed to invite another student to eat with them at the guest table.
We do ask that you limit lunch visits to birthdays only until after Labor Day to allow for us to teach expectations and help students learn the routines and procedures. Thank you for your help and understanding.
