Dear Falling Waters Families, 

We had our 2024-25 kindergarten parent meeting last night and there were quite few familiar faces as well as some first time Gretna families!  Be sure to contact our office (402-332-3938) if you were unable to attend and we can get you information.  

Today we have kicked off "One School, One Book".  Our story connects back to our school-wide theme of "Learning Takes You Places" with the book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.   Our librarian, Mrs. Gibbons, provided us with an exciting assembly today featuring the book.   Below you will find a copy of the schedule with links.  Your oldest and/or only children will receive a copy of the book.  Mrs. Gibbons and our staff would also like to thank everyone for their participation in our magazine sales!  They were a hit and we can continue to grow our library collection. 

Valentines Day is just around the corner!  Our PTO is hosting a Valentines Dance for families.  Be sure to join your student as there will not be teacher supervision at this event.  In addition to the Valentines dance, we will have classroom Valentines Day parties during the day on February 14th at 2:30 PM. Parents are welcome to attend the parties if you would like.  Candy Gram information is still available in our printable flyers!  Click here to be taken right there.    All of our events are sure to be "sweet". 

As a reminder, there is no school on President's Day, February 19th and no school for current kindergarteners only on round up day, February 23rd.
