25th 1st Grade Music Program - Rescheduled

Dear Families,

Thank you to all of the families who have taken an ornament from our Giving Tree!  We still have quite a few ornaments that are available if you are interested in taking one.

Congratulations to our 5th grade DARE Graduates!  I'm so proud of their hard work this past semester.  Today we will be having their graduation ceremony.   I will be sure to post photos soon!

As noted on our calendar and through e-mail,  we have moved our 1st grade music program to January 25th at 6:30 PM.  We are so thrilled that Mrs. Weddel welcomed a healthy, baby boy this past Tuesday.

We are also excited to gear up for the holidays ahead! In lieu of classroom holiday parties, teachers are hosting thematic activities in their classroom.  I will be working on providing students with a treat and possibly some hot cocoa to celebrate.

Have an amazing weekend!

Sincerely,

-Dr. H

Below is a photo of our "Giving Tree".  It is located in our front office and has different ornaments on it with different needs for families.

Staff Favorites

This time of year I have many families ask if there is a teacher favorites list.  We do keep them in our front office, but we also have it linked here for your convience.

Thanks so much!

Parents are able to access their child's lunch account online.  Visit our Food & Nutrition Services website here.  Accounts and payment information can be found here.

If you should have any questions regarding your child’s lunch account, please feel free to contact our lunch paraprofessional, Mrs. Kelly Leahy at  402-332-3938 or kleahy@gpsne.org.

Students are welcome to celebrate their birthdays at school!  Please be sure treats are store bought.  Check with your child's teacher if they are a nut-free classroom.

To help your child's birthday celebration run smoothly, please send the treats with your child to school in the morning.

Guests are welcome to join us at lunch. There will be special "Guest" tables set up in the lunchroom for you and your child to eat.  Your child will not be allowed to invite another student to eat with them at the guest table.

We do ask that you limit lunch visits to birthdays only until after Labor Day to allow for us to teach expectations and help students learn the routines and procedures.  Thank you for your help and understanding.
