War

I know one of our favorite card games is war! And Miss Brain is super helpful at walking us through how to play regular war, as well as two ways to play addition and multiplication war. All you need is a deck of cards!

Math Tic Tac Toe

Woah! I've seen so many students over the years play regular tic tac toe. So I was super excited to find Math Tic Tac Toe! In this variation, you and your partner have the added layer of trying to make 15 with each row, column and diagonal.

Cribbage!

For 3rd and 4th graders:

For Newton 4th graders, this is a great way to practice! You all learned this winter! It'll remind you of all the rules as you go. For review, turn off "manually count scores". And if you want to test your knowledge of the rules, turn on "manually count the scores" in settings.

For Newton 3rd graders, this is a great way to learn how to play! Maybe you'll be an expert when we finally are back. Keep "manually count scores" off in settings.

Challenge: do you think you could beat Ms. GK when we go back to school?

This game is so fantastic because it uses materials you already have at home and is so easy to play!

You can play with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division! It all just depends on what numbers you write inside your egg carton.

This game is fantastic if you're looking for a different way to test your facts with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Let me know how you do!
