In this course, students will explore a variety of life science topics including cells, genetics, evolution, classification, body systems, and ecosystems. Through hands-on labs, investigations, and real-world applications, students will develop critical thinking and scientific reasoning skills. This course follows the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards and prepares students to understand how biology connects to everyday life, future careers, and responsible decision-making as informed citizens.
