Your teacher's Google Meet link will be posted in the banner at the top of your Google Classroom and in a button under the Classwork tab.
If your teacher has not started the Meet yet, you will see a message saying you cannot join. Try again after the teacher has started the Meet.

Plan Ahead To Avoid Distractions
Carefully choose where you will take part in the virtual session to avoid distractions for you and your classmates.
Be Aware Of Your Location
Your surroundings are also on the camera.
Follow The School Dress Code
Ask yourself, "Would my principal approve?"
Eliminate Background Noise
If your system is not on mute, be aware that everyone can hear your moving around, including rustling through papers, typing on your keyboard, coughing, etc.
Selectively Mute
Avoid potential feedback by muting your microphone when you are not speaking. Also mute your camera if you need to get up during the session.
Consider Lighting
You may want to eliminate background light from windows so that you don’t appear as a silhouette.
