Hello! My name is Kia Ford and I am a passionate 4th grade teacher with 9 years of dedicated experience in the field of education. I am a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, a testament to my commitment to providing a well-rounded education to my students.

Throughout my career, I have strived to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where each child can flourish academically and socially. My teaching philosophy is centered on fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. 

Teaching has continued to bring me so much joy each year! It is a rewarding feeling to watch my students develop and discover new skills that promote critical and independent thinking. Teaching is a team effort so, I thank you in advance for all your support and hard work. This is not a job I have to do, I get to do it with love, care, and dedication.
