Our Military Liaisons are dedicated to smoothing the educational journey for military families, offering support before, during, and after your Permanent Change of Station (PCS).
The role of our Campus-Based Military Liaison focuses on being the primary contact for military-connected students and their families, facilitating their integration and support within their assigned campus. This includes overseeing enrollment, transfer of records, and the application of the military student identifier (MSI) for tracking in the Texas Student Data System. This role involves setting up and managing campus-based support services tailored to the specific requirements of students with military connections, including transition programs and peer support initiatives. Additionally, there is a commitment to continual learning, with annual professional development aimed at enhancing understanding of the challenges and needs associated with the transition of military families into the academic environment.
