Dayana Olguin was born on December 21, 2010. Her parents were born in Mexico but she was born in Houston Texas. Later on, she had a sister, who looked like her a lot. But Dayana had a problem, she was born with a little ball on her eyelids on both eyes. Her parents were worried and couldn’t find any doctors to help her get rid of what she had. Until they found a good medication for it to go away. Dayana Olguin went to Pyburn Elementary where she made a lot of friends that to this day are still with her. Now she’s in 8th grade, she has 3 siblings, and enjoys school a lot.
Dayana’s favorite hobby is playing her piano which she got for Christmas when she was 6 years old. Also, she enjoys drawing and painting, which made her participate in Rodeo Art in Elementary, and she is still participating in it. Another hobby Dayana loves the most is traveling, ever since she could remember her parents would take her to Mexico and travel to other places. Although the trips were long she loved looking and admiring the world and nature around her.
One of her recent accomplishments was being a finalist in Rodeo Art, even though she participated in it ever since Elementary she was never a finalist. Another of her recent accomplishments was getting a masters in her Reading and Math STAAR test. She currently wants to work hard to keep things the way they are now and get master's for her Science and Social Studies STAAR test which she heard that Social Studies will be the most difficult one.
Dayana’s current goals are to keep getting better and better at school and get straight A's through her last year of middle school and her upcoming year of high school. She also wants to go to a good college to become an architect, nurse, or interior designer, which she still decides on. She wants to make her parents proud, that she can be successful in life and make them realize that they raised a good and well-educated daughter who will have a successful future and be the perfect daughter her parents wanted her to be ever since she was little because her parents were her encouragement throughout all her 13 years of living into graduating and get a better life than what her parents gave her, which she will always be grateful for.
