Class overview
L.O.T.C. (Leadership Officer Training Corps) is a class that has a mission to promote citizenship, leadership, communication enhancement, strengthen self-esteem, and develop self-discipline. L.O.T.C also strives to improve physical fitness, promote graduation, and helps students learn to work as a team. Lastly, there is an incentive to live drug free and encourage an appreciation of the military services, and their accomplishments.

Teacher Introduction
I am Master Sergeant Natasha Gerard and the L.O.T.C Instructor at Cunningham Middle School. I retired from the United States Air Force after serving faithfully for 20 years. I am so excited to be working with you and your student this school year. I am very excited about the opportunity to influence and encourage my new students and their success. I received my Bachelors in Public Safety Administration with a minor in Homeland Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus. I am so excited for this upcoming school year, and I can assure you that through flexibility, teamwork, and persistence we can make this year one of the best!
