Workshop A 11:00 am - 11:50 pm
https://milton.zoom.us/j/97498592816?pwd=NDBlV0dUcS9nU2I5SVJRM0JOeFJBdz09
The meeting is recurring, and after February 27 participants will need to register to join each meeting using a school-affiliated email address.
The goal of our workshop is to introduce the new publication, “The Passport” to the larger community of international students at New England boarding schools.
An online, interscholastic, as well as independent, student-run publication, The Passport magazine gives voice and representation to international students at boarding schools in New England. The Passport’s content will include informative articles, essays on literature, discussions of music, opinion articles, an advice column, and also recipes of foods from home.
The Passport’s founding stemmed from the scattering of international students back to their home countries across the globe due to school closures caused by COVID-19. Fraught communication and equity issues around access and support heightened the need for a way to unite international students and amplify their voices, perspectives and experiences.
The Passport has been in the works for almost a year, and we are so excited for chapters to spread across our schools! We are stronger together!
