Caught in a Limbo

This workshop targets International students in American boarding schools, by introducing the conversation of ‘fitting in without losing a sense of identity.’ When adjusting to a new environment, International students are caught in a void where no place feels or looks like home. This workshop equips students with the tools and skills that will allow them to find their identity and community despite being in a new environment and going through culture shock. Through a self reflective and interactive activity, this workshop will spark a conversation of what it means to adjust and how to be proud of being ‘international.’
