Welcome to the exciting world of Communications Technology and Design!
This course is your gateway to understanding and harnessing the power of modern communication tools and creative design principles. Over the next semester, you will embark on a journey that will not only introduce you to the fascinating realm of technology but also ignite your creativity in ways you might not have imagined.
In this class, you will explore the dynamic fusion of communication and design, learning how to craft compelling messages, design captivating visuals, and navigate the ever-evolving landscape of digital media. Whether you're interested in graphic design, video production, website development, or simply want to improve your communication skills in the digital age, this course has something valuable to offer you.
My goal is not only to teach you the technical skills required for effective communication and design but also to inspire you to think critically, solve problems, and express your ideas with impact and flair. You'll be encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and discover your unique voice in a world where creativity and technology intersect.

This course enables students to further explore and develop technological knowledge and skills introduced in the elementary science and technology program. Students will be given the opportunity to design and create products and/or provide services related to the various technological areas or industries, working with a variety of tools, equipment, and software commonly used in industry. Students will develop an awareness of environmental and societal issues, and will begin to explore secondary and postsecondary education and training pathways leading to careers in technology-related fields.
Below is a general overview of what you can expect over the next 18 weeks as we explore a variety of technologies and industries this semester.
