An annotated bibliography is a bibliography (reference list) that has an annotation (a description) for each source in the list. Depending on the teacher's requirements, the annotation will be a summary or a summary with an evaluation of the source.
Use the APA title page template provided which will have the correct settings:
Font Times New Roman 12 pt.
One-inch margins.
Line-spacing to double (2.0).
Header with shortened title in capital letters and page numbering right-justified.
The references must
be alphabetized by author's last name,
have the first line of each reference at the left margin and subsequent lines should be block-indented 1/2 inch. (Hanging indent)
Place the annotation on the line after each source's reference.
Do not add an extra line between the citations.
The annotation should be in line with the second line of the reference, i.e., 1/2 inch from the left margin as a block.
Each annotation should be one paragraph, between three to six sentences long (about 150-200 words).
