Beat, Rhythm, and Rests are the foundation for all music. Rhythm is introduced as early as possible, kindergarten or grade 1. Can you clap along to the examples they give? Remember, no clapping on the rests!
Bonus marks if you can clap along while counting the beats out loud as you practice.
Treble Clef notation is introduced in grade 3. The ledger line section of the video will apply to students grade 4 and older.
