Ms. Dupuis' First Grade!
Hello to all of you! Your child's first grade year will be starting soon!
I am looking forward to working with both you and your child this year. Here is some important information to get you ready for this coming school year. Please click through the bar at the top of this page for more information.
General Information about Class
We have snack daily in the afternoon. Snacks are not provided for students. Please plan to pack something healthy for your child each day. Snacks are not shared between students.
I typically start volunteers at the end of October. This allows the kids to settle into the classroom routines. Parents who are interested in volunteering must attend a volunteer orientation meeting. If you have volunteered in the past, you must update your information each year online on the Gorham School website.
When it is your child’s birthday, our class will make birthday cards. Our health and wellness policy does not allow food items for birthdays or special occasions. Please save cupcakes, cookies etc. for celebrations at home.
A class list with phone numbers and addresses will go home once I have gathered this information from all parents. Please use this list to give out any birthday invitations outside of school. This will avoid any hurt feelings or lost birthday invitations.
Here is my contact information. For general phone calls, please leave a message at 222-1068. If there is an urgent call, please call the main office at Great Falls at 222-1050. Any changes in dismissal for your child must go through the office by noon time. Please review the dismissal policy procedures.
Your child MUST always wear sneakers for Gym class. More information will follow regarding our rotating special schedule this year. Gym will not be on the same day every week.
