Desert Ecosystems

Desert ecosystems are drier than grassland ecosystems.

The desert ecosystem, like grasslands, does not have much vegetation. As a result, the number of insects and animals is limited.

This ecosystem does not receive much rain, and as a result, the quality of soil found in this ecosystem is poor.

Some places where desert ecosystems are found are in Asia, Africa and Australia.
