Our teachers are experienced and equipped with unique skill sets that enable them to lead with excellence. Whether its a meltdown over wet clothes, a struggle to hold a pencil, or a conflict with friends along the trail, teachers are there to support and guide.
All teachers are committed to participating in ongoing workshops and professional development courses through the Eastern Region Association of Forest and Nature Schools.
Chelsea - Director
I grew up tagging along with my mother as she ran her own schools. She began sending me into the classroom to assist teachers when I was just a child myself - probably to get me out from under foot, but I learned so much! I have worked in Early Childhood ever since; in centers, preschools, orphanages, and the foster care system. Since becoming a mother myself I have fallen more deeply in love with the outdoors, which has spilled over into my early childhood philosophies and practices. I am very slowly but surely finishing up my B.A. in Early Childhood Education. I homeschool my own two boys and have lead local forest schools and tinkergarten classes.
