This course-of-study begins with a review of the constitutional principles of our nation’s founding. The course should lead to deepening understanding of concepts and ideas associated with the building of the United States in this time period and the significance of these ideas and concepts in the world today. The course continues to follow the development our country and continues through the World War II. The class is rigorous and relevant with instruction that integrates thinking skills, historical processes, and content so that students are able to apply the learning to their own lives.
