My name is Madeline Mann. This is my second year teaching! I am beyond excited to have your student in my class.  I know that having a younger teacher for your student can be a bit stressful, but rest assured I will do everything in my power to make sure we have a fun and engaging, yet rigorous learning environment. We will be reading multiple novels this semester: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey and Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. With these novels we will work to analyze certain aspects of the writing such as: theme, characters, plot, figurative language and more!
