Professional Experience

This will be my 19th year in teaching. Whew! I can’t believe it! I taught for three years at Goddard High School before moving to Eisenhower High School when it opened. Before teaching in USD 265, I taught for one year at Wichita High School North.

Before working in education, I covered high school sports for the Wichita Eagle as a correspondent and served as the sports editor for the Andover Journal.

Family

My husband, Jared, is a graduate of Wichita State University and Goddard High, Class of 1996. We have been married 24 years.

I have a son, Noah, who is nineteen. My daughter, Emma, is sixteen. Both my kids attend or attended Eisenhower High. Noah currently lives in Arizona where he does missionary work. Emma is a Tigerette.  We have two Boston Terriers, Rosie and Lilly.

Hobbies

When I have free time, I do enjoy walking. I completed the Walt Disney Marathon in 2005 and have run several half marathons. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my husband and children. We love to travel.
