My name is Mrs. Beiter (pronounced like BITE-er. Weird, right?) I am a WSU grad and I have a lot of experience in the writing world — working as a freelance writer, an editor at The Wichita Eagle, and a writer/editor for the biggest balloon company in the world! But if I’m being honest, I’ve had the most fun when I get to hang out with sarcastic teens. 

My husband, Tyler, is an aerospace engineer at Textron and former Goddard grad. I have two kids: Maddie is a freshman at Purdue University and Eli is a freshman at Eisenhower HS. I also have two basset hounds who love ice cream, Reese's Pieces, very short walks, and super long naps.

Some book nerd facts: my favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, the book is almost ALWAYS better than the movie, and I once left a pair of Nike's in London just so I could cram more books into my suitcase.
