Welcome to 6th Grade!  I am so excited you are here!

         Let me first introduce myself, my name is Heather Allen and I will be your child’s sixth grade Math teacher.  This is my sixth year teaching 6th grade at Discovery Intermediate, as well as my 11th year teaching!  I am originally from Virginia, and I moved to Kansas in 2016.  I attended ODU (Old Dominion University) on a rowing scholarship.  I received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and my masters degree in Elementary education.  I am married to my wonderful husband, Brandon, and we have two daughters. Kenna and Emmie.
