Are you wondering what is the Student Council and why is it important?
On behalf of the Student Council of Goddard, welcome to the Student Council website. We are pleased you have taken the time to learn more about your Student Council.
Our student council recognizes that public support and open lines of communication are vital to a successful educational environment for all students. We encourage each of you to stay informed on the decisions which affect you (Goddard Students), let council representatives know your opinions on important issues, and to attend meetings whenever possible
The Student Council of Goddard is guided by elected representatives from EDU-VT, EDU-WA, GGI, MFAIA-VT, MFAIA-WA, MFAW-VT, MFAW-WA, PSY, UGP1 AND UPG2. The students serving on the council are elected annually by their program student body. The Student Council has many duties including but not limited to:
Providing the students of Goddard College with representation as part of Goddard’s commitment to collective governance.
Establishing initiatives
Advocating for and represent the voice of the student constituency, by maintaining a bridge of communication between students and the Goddard community-at-large
Providing support for quality educational opportunities
