Best Buddies is a club that creates meaningful connections between students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies plans to meet and hold activities after school once a month in room 123. Students interested in getting involved in Best Buddies should email the advisors above.

Key Club is a community service and leadership organization at GMHS that generally meets on the third Thursday of each month. Club members will organize and participate in volunteer projects around the Columbus community while learning new skills and spending time with their friends.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that works to promote Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service. NHS puts on several events to support the community along with working to raise funds for charitable causes. Additionally, members of NHS get involved in their own personal service projects, allowing them to not only contribute to others but grow as an individual. Incoming members must be invited and accepted by the faculty board (members must have a 3.7 cumulative GPA).

You must sign up for the World History - OMUN class for the fall. But this is no guarantee that you will compete in the OMUN Competition. We take three teams of 6 students and the best assignments in the class earn the spots. It is a lot of research and crafting model resolutions. Be prepared to work hard and compete against the best academic competition the state of Ohio has to offer.

Senior Committee is a group of senior-level students who participate in class competitions, plan senior events and outings, help with senior t-shirt design, and any other senior activities the school or committee has planned.
Students interested in the senior committee should fill out the interest form sent to the senior class at the beginning of the school year. .

The Student Council plans and organizes school events such as Homecoming and Pep Rallies. We also volunteer around the school and host fundraisers to help cover the cost of various events. If you are interested in signing up, please keep an eye on your email for an application from Ms. Brunner. Applications will be coming out in the next couple of weeks. Keep in mind, you are required to earn at least 25 volunteer hours and 25 points as well as maintain a 3.0 GPA to be a member.
