FAQs
Attendance Line (614) 836-4970
Students are expected to be at school each day from 7:15-1:45.
Signing Out: Parents must come into the Attendance Office and sign their student out if they need to pick a student up before the end of the day.
After School Expectations: Students may only stay after school in an assigned area with an adult. If waiting for an activity to begin, students must remain in the cafeteria.
Late Start and Early Dismissal Students must sign in and out in the Attendance Office at their assigned time. If they arrive too early or stay later, they must be with a staff member in an assigned location. This should be a rare occurrence; otherwise may lose this privilege and be assigned additional classes.
Excused Absences: If you have a doctor’s note or obituary notice for a funeral, or the student's bus was canceled, those absences are excused. Email documentation to krena.hubner@gocruisers.org
Attendance Intervention Process: Much like positive behavior and academic skills, attendance is another key complement to achieving success at school. This process is designed to support families and to provide them through a team approach that provides them with the resources that their student needs to reach their full potential. Our goal is to find solutions before issues escalate and prevent students from being referred to the Truancy Office.
