I am a born and raised Gobles Tiger and truly love the students and staff in this school! After high school, I attended Western Michigan University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Family Studies. I worked as a Family Advocate for Head Start until I had my second child and then I stayed home with my children to watch them grow during their early years. I continued my involvement advocating for children and families in Van Buren County and joined the Van Buren Great Start Collaborative Board in 2009. In 2010, I took a part-time position with the Van Buren Great Start Collaborative to improve systems, strengthen families, connect families to resources, all with the ultimate goal to improve outcomes for children.

I was fortunate that my job was flexible enough to begin substitute teaching and coordinating district and state testing when my oldest son was in first grade. In June of 2022, I was absolutely ecstatic to officially join the Tiger team full time as the 6-12 Behavior Interventionist, aka “school mom” and 504 Coordinator.

I married my dream guy, Don in 2002. We have two incredible children, Brayton and Adriana. We love spending time together riding four-wheelers/dirt bikes, volunteering at church and going on vacation.
